Creative workshop on film art.
Free film workshop

This is a unique international experience of supporting Ukrainian families who have temporarily found refuge in Estonia.

Culture Helps is a project co-funded by the European Union under a special call for proposals to support Ukrainian displaced persons and the Ukrainian cultural and creative sectors. The project is implemented by Insha Osvita (UA) and zusa (DE), Caritas Ukraine, FUFF - Finnish-Ugric Film Festival.

The project is aimed at strengthening family ties, supporting mental health and unlocking the creative potential of camp participants.

Ukrainian women with children spent a wonderful week of autumn holidays in the Estonian ethnic settlement of Uusvada. They learnt about the cultural heritage of Estonia (Setoma) and restored their psycho-emotional state.

Creative classes on weaving motanka amulets, bracelets in the national colours of Ukraine, painting with paints on large canvases, writing a script and finally shooting a film made this week unforgettable for the participants.

This is a great support for Ukrainian women in the process of forced migration in search of protection of their children from the war.

We would like to present to you two short films made as part of the Culture Helps cooperation project 💙💛.

These films are the result of the creative work of Ukrainian families who have found refuge in Estonia, combining their experiences and inspiration to create unique stories.
